The standards for IC certification are basically the same as those of the FCC
IC is the abbreviation of Industry Canada.
As a government agency, it is responsible for the certification of electronic and electrical products entering the Canadian market. The products it is responsible for are roughly divided into: radio and television equipment, information technology equipment, radio equipment, telecommunications equipment, engineering and medical equipment, etc.
Verification method:
Two methods, self-verification and certification, can be used.
IC ID: CN (Company Number, up to 6 digits) + UPN (Unique Product Number, up to 8 digits).
ID application instructions:
1. There must be Canadian representative address information.
2. The label must contain the following information (manufacturer name or trademark, model name, IC ID number).
